This video provides a time-lapse of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade (e.g. where enslaved Africans were taken and which European empires were responsible for the forced migration and colonization of what we now call the Americas. It illustrates how culturally diverse and mixed the African diaspora became even before the voluntary settlement of people from South America, Central America, the Caribbean, the African continent and other colonized lands, to Canada.
