This might foster the intergenerational relations around Indigenous, Black, newcomer, international and other students who typically\u00a0 feel isolated within contemporary student residence arrangements. In turn, this may mitigate the requirements for mental health supports and shift conceptualizations of student life and extracurricular activities. While maps are colonial tools themselves, this future map might be a map of this new style of residence, or a map of family connections that guides the design of these residences and resources.","rendered":" \n\n
