The first chapter focuses on providing a context to racism, anti-Black racism, the link between racism and intersectionality, and racism, health, and healthcare. The second chapter focuses on what it means to be Black. The third chapter focuses on the invisibility of Black nurses, and highlights Black, Indigenous, Asian, and racialized nurse leaders.
