Customizing Core Collection Titles<\/h2>\r\nAny of these titles can be customized to reflect the requirements of a particular course.\u00a0 How you make a customized version will depend on your location and the software you have available.\u00a0 The easiest way to customize a book is to clone it to another Pressbooks site and edit it there, but other editing options are available.\r\n

Pressbooks<\/h3>\r\nAll titles are available from the Public Domain Core Collection<\/a> site and are licensed so that you can copy and edit them.\u00a0 To create a customized version, log into your eCampusOntario or institutional\u00a0 Pressbooks account, and clone a copy of the book.\r\n

How to clone a Pressbooks title:<\/h4>\r\n

  1. Log into your Pressbooks account (Ontario educators, log into your\u00a0 eCampus Ontario Pressbooks<\/a> account)<\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Click on My Books<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Click on Clone a Book<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>\"Screenshot<\/li>\r\n \t
  4. Enter the url of the book that you want to clone (Source Book URL)<\/li>\r\n \t
  5. Enter your new URL (Target Book URL)<\/li>\r\n \t
  6. Optional - Enter the title of the book (Target Book Title)\"Screenshot<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t
  7. Click on Clone this Book<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nA copy of the book will be cloned into your account.\r\n

    Wordpress<\/h3>\r\nAll titles have downloadable Wordpress files.\u00a0 To access the Wordpress files, go to the main page for an individual title and, in the Download this Book<\/strong> drop-down menu, select Wordpress XML<\/strong>.\r\n

    Other Publishing Platforms<\/h3>\r\nThe titles in this collection are available in multiple editable formats including epub, xml, and html. These files can be downloaded directly from the home page of the book via the drop-down download menu.\r\n
