The embedded audio recordings consist of a fictional case study (based on real life) whereby an employee encounters various milestones and hurdles as someone who has recently joined the workforce. Listen to the audio recordings at the beginning of each section to help you better connect with professional communication practices.\r\n\r\nImmediately following each recorded scenario, students will find a wealth of easy-to-digest information and resources relevant to each point in our story. The four main modules include:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong>Module 1:<\/strong> Applying for a Position<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Module 2:<\/strong> Corporate Etiquette<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Module 3:<\/strong> Diversity in the Workplace<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Module 4:<\/strong> Networking for Career Advancement<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Audio recordings<\/strong>\r\n\r\nNarrated recordings throughout this OER will create a personal connection to allow the teaching to resonate with the learner. These audio recordings will be available at the beginning of each module. These recordings help review the previous modules and introduce the next module to contextualize the learning outcomes.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Learning outcomes\u00a0<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe OER provides an introduction to professional communication and organizational survival skills that are not normally taught.
