Here are some <b>troubleshooting ideas<\/b>\u2014click on the ones that apply to you and check out the suggestions.<\/span><\/p>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n[h5p id=\"9\"]\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Students are often reluctant to seek help. They feel like doing so marks them as slow, weak, or demanding. The truth is, <b>every learner occasionally struggles<\/b>. If you are sincerely trying to keep up with the course reading but feel like you are in over your head, seek help. A great first step is to seek clarification from your peers, because they can share their interpretations about the readings and together you can engage in further critical discussions about course content. Additional tips include speaking up in class, scheduling a meeting with your instructor, or accessing the learning resources offered at your university.<\/span><\/p>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<div class=\"textbox textbox--exercises\"><header class=\"textbox__header\">\r\n<p class=\"textbox__title\">Student Tip<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/header>\r\n<div class=\"textbox__content\">\r\n\r\n<strong>Are You Having Problems Reading?<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<span class=\"s1\">If you are, identify and work to manage these problems as early in the semester as you can. Instructors respect students who are proactive about their own learning. Most instructors will work hard to help students who make the effort to help themselves.
