You are too eager in your amours;<\/span>\r\nYou needn't be so passionate. Ah ha!<\/span>\r\nMy holy man! You want to put it on me!<\/span>\r\nHow is your soul abandoned to temptation!<\/span>\r\nMarry my daughter, eh?\u2014and want my wife, too?<\/span>\r\nI doubted long enough if this was earnest,<\/span>\r\nExpecting all the time the tone would change;<\/span>\r\nBut now the proof's been carried far enough;<\/span>\r\nI'm satisfied, and ask no more, for my part.<\/span>\r\n\r\nELMIRE (to Tartuffe)<\/span>\r\n'Twas quite against my character to play<\/span>\r\nThis part; but I was forced to treat you so.<\/span>\r\n\r\nTARTUFFE<\/span>\r\nWhat?
