Introduction

About This Book

This book contains modules used in our certificate course, which goes by the same name, “Accessible Digital Research: Strategies for Overcoming the Digital Divide in Survey Research”. It contains written content, as well as supplementary Module Assignments, and Personal Project Assignments, which will support completion of this training.

If you are unable to access or navigate the web-based version of the Personal Project Assignments, they have been made available for download to fill out on your own in a PDF format, available here.

Please keep in mind that these modules are not exhaustive; the realm of digital research is complex and diverse, and requires continued review and innovation for developing best practices.

As such, these modules should be used in conjunction with other materials. There are many resources for training in intersectional and EDIA-focused research, which we will attempt to reference for your benefit as a researcher.

Finally, we would like to thank you for using this training module. We hope you have as much fun engaging with it as we did making it.
