About The Authors

Eunice Tunggal: Eunice is a master’s student pursuing her degree in Occupational and Public Health at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is a second-generation migrant but has lived in the Greater Toronto Area for her entire life. Her lens and positionality are, therefore, influenced by her identities as a Canadian student and a biracial woman.

Christina Vassell: Christina is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University. Having also lived her life in the Greater Toronto area, she is a first-generation Black-Canadian woman who identifies heavily with her Caribbean roots. Her life experiences and intersecting identities have shaped her worldview and influence her positionality.
