About the Authors

Authors

Sara Klein is a Law Librarian at TMU Libraries. She has previously worked as a librarian at the Bennett Jones Law Library at the University of Calgary and the Peter W. Rodino Jr. Law Library Center for Information and Technology at Seton Hall University Law School.  Sara completed her Master of Philosophy at York University, her law degree at the University of New Brunswick, and her Masters of Information at the University of Toronto.  Her research interests lie in reducing barriers to entry to law libraries and broadening law student information literacy.

Alison Skyrme is a Special Collections Librarian at Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries with a specialty in photographic and film archives. She is also a Liaison Librarian supporting  the Creative School. Alison completed her MI in Library and Information Science and Archives and Records Management at the University of Toronto and her MA in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management from Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research interests include reparative cataloguing and teaching with primary sources.

Fiona Kovacaj (she/her) is a Business Librarian at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Libraries. She supports Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Global Management Studies, and Zone Learning. Fiona has a Master of Information (MI) with a collaborative specialization in Book History and Print Culture from the University of Toronto as well as a Master of Arts in History.

Magdalen Sinson is a Business Librarian at Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries.

Tanis Franco is the Archivist at Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries within the Archives & Special Collections department.

Michelle Schwartz is a Liaison Librarian at the Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries, supporting the journalism, media, design, and music programs within the Creative School and the Faculty of Arts. She co-directs Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada, a digital humanities research project that is building an interactive digital resource for the study of LGBTQ2+ history in Canada.

Cecile Farnum is a Liaison Librarian at the Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries, supporting the Schools of Nutrition, Occupational and Public Health, and the Department of Psychology.

Lisa Levesque is a Law Librarian at Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries, supporting the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Law and Business, and the Law Practice Program. Her work includes a strong focus on teaching and research help. Her research includes data brokerage as surveillance technology in libraries, qualitative studies of research practices, and theoretical critiques of technology fetishism.
