- What type of conflict did the charge nurse encounter (e.g. task conflict)? What strategies did the charge nurse use to resolve the conflict?
- How could the CNO 3-factor framework be used by the charge nurse in this situation- re RN-RPN patient assignments? Add complexity to debrief discussion?
- How does the CN demonstrate leadership in scene 3? What behaviours are observed?
- Is there anything that the CN could have done differently to manage the staffing and patient assignment situation? Provide specific examples.
- Need for good teamwork – frequent communications, looking for solutions together, help each other – what can we do to help each other?
