Scene 2: Interprofessional Conflict between Charge Nurse and Medical Doctor

The focus of Scene 2 is escalation of the concern for the patient, whose condition has deteriorated and the charge nurse (CN) is requesting the medical doctor (MD) come to assess the patient. Concepts for discussion include conflict resolution, interprofessional communication, power, escalation of care, respect, shared decision-making, and collaboration.
