The objective of this program is to increase knowledge, capacity & confidence of NPs to deliver quality, evidence-based, integrated and interprofessional primary care to LTC residents. You have now obtained additional knowledge and resources that will support your ability to care for residents in LTC.

NPs have an important role in caring for individuals in primary care, especially those in LTC. With any specialty practice, ongoing professional education and training are required to support and maintain competent practice. It is the objective that this certificate program has provided you with the knowledge and confidence to have a rewarding career supporting residents in the LTC setting.
